This article describes features and improvements available in the latest versions of Fuze for Salesforce.
Depending on your company’s settings and your permissions, you may have some or all of the features described below.
Fuze for Salesforce 5.4
Fuze for Salesforce 5.4 introduces the following new features:
Auto-link calls initiated via click-to-call
When you click-to-call a phone number on an opportunity, account, or case, Fuze for Salesforce now automatically associates the call log to the Salesforce contact from which the click-to-call was initiated.
This means that you no longer need to manually create associations when using click-to-call, but you can manually override the association at any time.
Auto-link Opportunity on click-to-call
Auto-link Case on click-to-call
View Caller-Related Objects by Account or Contact
You can now view Opportunities or Cases for a caller, directly in the caller information drop-down menu. Account-related details are displayed by default, and you can select Contact-related results in the filter that appears at the top of the list to view Opportunities.
The filter selection for Opportunities, by Account or Contact, persists for subsequent calls.

Search Caller-Related Objects by Account or Contact
When searching for Opportunities and Cases to link to a call, we've added a View filter that lets you filter results by Account-related, or Contact-related. By default, the Search screen is now pre-populated with Account-related results.
This helps you more easily find the Opportunity or Case you're looking for, and you can easily update the filter to switch between Contact-related or Account-related.
The current filter selection also automatically persists for subsequent searches.
Matching Text in Search Results is Now Bold
When searching for Opportunities and Cases to link to a call, the matching text in search results is now bold.
This helps you easily see matching text in your search results.
Two Character Keyword Searching
When searching for Opportunities and Cases to link to a call, we've reduced the minimum keyword length from 3 to 2 characters.
This means you can search for two-character code fields, and helps you find even more caller-related results.
