The safety of everyone at your organization is as important to us as it is to you. As a result, our approach to contacting emergency services via Fuze Desktop and Web is as follows.
In countries and global regions where it is possible, Fuze Desktop and Fuze Web automatically register and provide location details (derived from the Fuze user profile from which the call originates) to the emergency responders answering the call.
For emergency calls, however, we strongly advise the use of a non-Fuze calling method, such as a cell phone, desk phone, or home phone instead of Fuze Desktop or Fuze Web.
This helps to avoid scenarios in which the caller is not present at the address stored in Fuze at the time of the call.
To help keep Fuze Desktop and Fuze Web users informed of this, anyone who signs in to Fuze must agree to the precautionary message shown below.
