This article provides troubleshooting tips for audio issues experienced when using an HDMI audio device.

Fuze is not optimized for use with HDMI audio devices.
If Fuze is configured to use an HDMI audio source (Profile menu > Settings > Audio/Video), a message may be generated stating that this type of audio configuration is not supported.
One or more of the following issues may occur under these circumstances:
- A loud, pervasive echo may be experienced on calls.
- Choppy or half-duplex audio ((HDX) when audio between two parties can only be handled in one direction at a time) may be experienced on calls and meetings.
Use Fuze apps with non-HDMI audio devices.
