The Meeting section of the Settings screen, shown below, allows you to configure settings for meetings you create and host in Fuze.
Note: You can click ESC to exit and save your changes at any time.
The following sections provide an overview of each section of the Meetings settings sections.
In the Vanity Links section you can configure custom, easy-to-remember meeting identifiers (instead of an ID number) that you can can be used for a meeting.
For example, you have a weekly meeting that you want participants to be able to easily join using the vanity link. You can create a vanity link for your meeting with the identifier “https://fuze.me/weeklymeeting”.
To create or edit a vanity meeting link:
- Click "+". The Create a Vanity Link screen appears, shown below.
- In the vanity link field, enter the vanity name you want to use (i.e., "weeklymeeting").
- Enable Create a new meeting to create the vanity link as a new meeting, or disable this setting to assign the vanity name to an existing meeting ID.
Note: you can only assign meeting ID numbers of meetings that you created yourself.
- Enable Display Toll-Free number upon joining to show a toll free number that participants can use to dial in to the meeting.
- Click Create. The vanity meeting is created and added to your list of vanity links.
You can click the Link button to copy the full url of vanity links you create.
These settings allow you to control how meeting participants dial into your meeting. This is especially useful if some meeting participants are not Fuze Desktop users.
Host Pin — If you are the host of a meeting and you dial in (as opposed to joining from Desktop), you'll need to enter this pin to identify yourself as the host. Until you do so, no one else will be able to join the meeting.
To change your Host Pin, click Edit (pencil icon), type a new 4 digit pin (must be numeric) into the text box and click the Checkmark button.
Add countries (optional) — If you often meet with people from other countries, you can select one or more countries to include local dial-in numbers for those participants in your meeting invites.Set your default country — Select a primary country to determine the toll free numbers that are provided to participants that dial into your meetings.
This section allows you to assign other Fuze users at your organization who are allowed to start and host meetings you've created.
To add a host delegate, enter their name in the My host delegates field and select them from the list that appears.
Click the "X" to the right of a person’s name to remove them from the delegate list.
