Fuze products are designed to be consistent and easy to use. You'll find that the group chat features are just like one-on-one chat features, but with a few extra features to make it easy to communicate with multiple at once.
To mention someone, type an ‘at’ symbol (@) in the text field, immediately followed by the name of the contact (e.g., “@Lily Johnson”), or select them from the list that appears.
When you mention someone, Fuze alerts the person to your message and highlights their name in yellow in the group chat window.
If the person mentioned is not a member of the group, Fuze Desktop will ask if you'd like to add them and share the chat history (see Adding People to a Group).
You can also alert the entire group to a message by typing "@group".
Additional Group Chat Features
Just like a one-on-one conversation, you can use mentions, send files, and use Emoji.
You can simply type "@" on your keyboard to create a mention, or you ca click this button to add an "at symbol" to your message.
If you want to share a file to other people in a conversation so that they can download a copy, start by clicking Send a File. Then, navigate to the file you want to send, select it, then click Open.
Add a little expression to your message by Add an Emoji to select from a wide variety of emojis. You can even search for the Emoji you want to share.
When you’re part of a group, you can click Start a Meeting in the chat screen to start and invite other group members to an ad-hoc meeting at any time.
Fuze displays a ringing screen for all members in the group, and a meeting invite is added to the conversation.
