Start an impromptu meeting with another Fuze user or a Fuze guest from one of the following locations:
You can also schedule a meeting for a date and time in the future.
Starting an Impromptu Meeting from the Search Screen
- Click in the Search bar on the Fuze toolbar.
The Search screen is displayed. - Enter the contact or group name.
- Point to the contact or group in the search results.
- Click Video Call.
The Video calling screen is displayed. A Meeting ID and link are automatically generated. - When the other contact answers the call, you are both accepted into the meeting.
When the meeting ends, the time and duration of the meeting are recorded in the chat history for each participant.
Starting an Impromptu Meeting from a Chat Conversation
When you are chatting with a contact or a group, start a meeting from the chat conversation.

In the chat conversation, click the Video Call button in the upper-right corner of the conversation pane.
The Video calling screen is displayed. A Meeting ID and link are automatically generated.
- When the other contact answers the call, you are both accepted into the meeting.
When the meeting ends, the time and duration of the meeting are recorded in the chat history for each participant.
